Blizzard Hits New York City!

The Dog Spotter is back in his home town of New York just in time for 10" of snow.  But it will take more than that to keep the Dog Spotter inside.  As I was cutting across Union Square I spotted this very happy Golden Retriever on his morning stroll.

Going to the dog park in the snow!  What greater pleasure hath come to a dog in winter?

The Dog Spotter Goes to Hastings

Apologies to my faithful readers for the long pause between posts.  The Dog Spotter has been quite busy traveling the world with his most recent stop in merry old England.  Hastings is a magical seaside town situated on Great Britain's southeast coast; home to not only Europe's largest beach based fishing fleet, but these fabulous french bulldogs we spotted on one of the many winding streets which weave past medieval houses, old churches and wonderful shop fronts.

Even a stop for a pints in a local pub called the Dragon proved to be good dog spotting!

The Dog Spotter Goes to Torquay

A wedding brought us to Torquay resting on the Southwest coast of England.  A surprise of warm January sun brought the dogs out for a swim!

There are few sights that compare with a dog happily swimming in the ocean retrieving his ball.
